My name is Amber Rigby Grosjean and I am an author. I have written Cursed Blood which is a horror with a supernatural romance twist with suspense. This book was released in Feb. 2007 making my life-long dream of becoming a published author come true! I have also written Stolen Identity which hasn’t been released yet. It is an erotica thriller with sex, lies, and murder!
I am a married woman with three children. I have been married for eleven years now. My husband, Jack (aka Billy lol) is my biggest fan. He inspires me, pushes me to keep my eyes before me at my goals. If I’m not writing, he tells me to get in there and do something or else lol. He just wants me to do what I love–write. I can’t blame him lol.
Other things that have inspired me are my childhood, my children, my friends, the world around me, other writers before me and around me, and life itself! It seems ideas seem to follow me everywhere I go too. That also inspires me.
Someone asked me to describe myself in one word. I had to think for a second because there really isn’t just one word that can. I said creative because I am a very creative person. I am also passionate, caring, friendly, stubborn, imaginative, crazy (aren’t we all?), slow at times and impatient at others, loving; well I could go all night lol.
Speaking of night, that’s when I really write. I prefer the solitude. It gives me the peace I need to concentrate on my books. I’m alone and I like that at times. I also enjoy being around people but at night is when I’m more productive. I can really write anywhere or anytime but when I’m alone, there is no one to distract me so I can really get things off my mind and put it down on paper, or on the computer lol.
